Bernard Gilliam

Olivia Kearney nominated her son, Bernard Gilliam, to be chosen as this week’s Hampton Roads Hero.

Olivia says her son works a lot with at-risk youth, donating time and money to help out with whatever the kids may need. He also volunteers as an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach at Booker T. Washington High School, and does all these things as a single parent of five.

Do want to be a part of the last season of House!?

Well the show is making it possible for a few fans to share in the shows final season, ending on May 21st.

HOW?

House watchers can submit original content (videos, photo, audio) that could be chosen to appear in the one-hour House retrospective special that will air right before the final episode .

The guys from the online sensation Dude Perfect decided to commemorate the release of their 100th video by shooting the first basketball from a moving Goodyear Blimp.

Paula Daniels

Ingrid Cleveland-Gallop nominated her friend Paula Daniels to be chosen as this week’s Hampton Roads Hero.

Ingrid, battling thyroid cancer, says Paula has supported her during her treatment and has played a key role in linking her and others to community resources. Paula is currently working on a community activity that will raise money for Ingrid during her recovery.
