Is American Idol contestant Jermain Jones being kicked out of the competition!?

The web was a buzz this morning after alleged story’s of the American Idol hopeful’s criminal past surfaced and has apparently deemed him ineligible to continue on in the competition.

Reports are saying that, last year, Jones allegedly gave a fake name during an arrest for two crimes he was charged for and failed to tell Idol producers the entire truth about the incident.

I don’t how much validity are in the claims,  but word is that we will have our confirmation  TONIGHT. Allegedly,  Jones was confronted on camera about the whole situation and the footage will appear on tonight’s American Idol Live Show.

Tonight American Idol celebrates their 400th episode!

The recently selected Top 13 will be mentored through their song selections by the Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary J Blige.

Tonight the guys will take on the music of the great Stevie Wonder, as the girls pay tribute to music legend, Whitney Houston.

DO NOT forget to tune in to the results show on Thursday night as Mary J Blige hits the stage, as well as season 10 American Idol contestant Lauren Alaina,  performing her smash hit single, “Georgia Peaches.”

Unfortunately one Idol contestant will be going home Thursday, so if you don’t want it to be your favorite, remember to VOTE after tonight’s show!

The American Idol Top 13 contestants have been chosen! Not the Top 13 that I predicted, but still a talented group.

Idol Watchers voted in the Top 10 contestants and the judges added their 3 wildcard picks. After all was said and done contestants Jermaine Jones, Erika Van Pelt, Jeremy Rosado, Skylar Laine, Jessica Sanchez, Deandre Brackensick, Hollie Cavanagh, Shannon Magrane, Colton Dixon. Heejun Han, Joshua Ledet, Elise Testone and Phillip Phillips made it through to the final competition, but as we all know they have only made it through the battle. The War, better know as the “Final Competition”, has just begun.

Starting Wednesday, 8PM March 14th, the Top 13 will sing for their lives week after week until one is left to join the ranks of the 10 past Idol Winners.

Make sure that you tune in every week and vote for your favorite contestants. Watchers are able to vote over the phone, via text message and online, so make sure you do all you can to see your pick make it the final show.
